Christmas gift guide for Skateboarders
Some shoppers need some guidance. We're here to try and ensure your skater friend, son, daughter etc gets a great gift!
Up to £15:
A great stocking filler is a skate tool from £4.99. They get used so often a new one always comes in handy. Having more than one is always useful, so don't worry if they may already have a tool.
Another idea is a couple of bars of curb / skate wax. At 99p per bar this is a great deal. Any skater who uses a skate park should own some, great on curbs too.
£15 to £40:
All skateboarders like fresh new bearings every few months.
The best selling bearings are Bones Reds skate bearings. Unbeatable strength and performance for the price bracket at only £17.99.
If you're willing to get something a bit more special then have a look at the various Swiss bearings from £39.
New skaters and anyone pushing themselves to learn new tricks should wear some protective gear. Knee pads start at £19.99, elbow pads £16 and helmets £20. A combo set is good value at £25.
Great for Christmas, especially when its raining outside, is a skate DVD. Browse our selection now, but keep in mind titles and stock changes weekly.
£40 to £100:

If your son or daughter is looking to start skating the Renner Pro Series skateboards are a great place to start at £55.
The quality is far superior to other skateboards in the same price range and will be easily upgradeable over the years.
Browse all our complete skateboards as stock changes quicker than we can write this guide. Our advice is to spend more than £50 on a skateboard, anything cheaper doesn't give the same level of performance and will be less fun to ride.
If you want any advice or ideas please email us, we're happy to help.

Flip P2 Skate Decks
The release last year of the Flip P2 skate decks was meant to take skate deck design and construction to a new level. Giving improved performance but for a small increase in cost. However, skaters didn't take to the new decks as well as expected. Slowly but surely the benefits are becoming known by word of mouth. They last longer for a start. So although around £5 more expensive than standard pro decks they actually save you money in the long term. They also do give extra 'pop' and therefore your standard of tricks and skating will be taken to the next level. Some now on sale HERE.
New from the USA are these
Spitfire skate wheels. Great pro standard wheels from probably the most popular skate wheel brand at the current time. They all retail at an RRP of £29.99.
